1 制服は必要か

制服は必要だ

制服を誇りに思う: am proud of our school uniforms

どこの学校の人かわかる: identify which school you are from

生徒を管理するにはよい: a good way to manage students

校内で部外者をすぐに識別できる: can easily recognize strangers in schools

制服は伝統を感じさせてくれる: uniforms provide us with a sense of tradition

学校の一員であること: being a member of the school

制服は安心を与えてくれる: uniforms give safety

制服は学校の伝統の象徴であるため、私たちは制服を誇りに思う。: We are proud of our school uniforms as a symbol of our school tradition.

制服を着ていると、どこの学校の人かすぐにわかるので、周囲の人たちが危険から守ってくれる。: Wearing uniforms can help people identify which school you are from and protect you from danger.

制服は、学校が生徒を管理するにはよいかもしれない。: School uniforms may be a good way for the school to manage its students.

みんなが制服を着ていると、校内で部外者をすぐに識別できる。: If all of you wear school uniforms, you can easily recognize strangers in schools.

制服は高く、一式で3万円以上するケースが多い。: School uniforms are expensive: a set of uniform often costs 30,000 yen or more.

同じ制服は毎日着なければならず、不潔だと感じることがある。: I sometimes feel uniforms are dirty because we have to wear them every day.

制服はカッコ悪いので押し付けられたくない。: I hate being forced to wear uniforms as they are just ugly.

制服は体が大きくなったら買い替えなければいけないからお金の無駄だ。: Wearing uniforms can be a waste of money because you must buy a new one when you grow bigger.

ボランティア活動は、高校生が社会に積極的に参加することができる良い方法だ。: Volunteering is a good way for high school students to actively take part in the society.

ボランティアを通じて、私たちは社会に影響を及ぼすことができる。: Through volunteering, we can make a difference to the society.

ボランティア活動は、さまざまな人と出会う機会を私たちに与えてくれる。: Volunteer activities give us opportunities to meet different people.

ボランティアをすることによって、私たちは新しいスキルを身につけられる。: We can learn new skills by doing volunteer work.

私はやれることをして自分なりに他の人を助けたい。: I want to do what I can do and help others in my own way.

多くの介護施設では人手が足りず、ボランティアを必要としている。: Many nursing home run short of staff and need volunteers.

学生であっても無料で働く必要はない。: Even students don't need to work for free.

電子デバイスを使えば、常に書籍の最新版が手に入る。: With an electric device, the latest version of books is always available.

たいていの電子書籍は紙の書籍より価格がより安い。: Most digital books cost less than paper books.

異なるデバイス間で電子書籍を容易に同期できる。: We can sync e-books easily between different devices.

電子書籍は端末が壊れやすいので不便だ。: Digital books are not convenient because the device is easy to break.

ほとんどのアプリは使いにくいので電子書籍で読みたくない。: I don't want to read digital books because most apps are not user-friendly.

紙の書籍の長所・短所

書き込みやすい: easier to add comments

複数の本を同時に開ける: open more than one book at the same time

時とともに劣化する: get old over time

紙の本のほうが書き込みしやすい。: It is easier to add comments on paper books.

紙の本は複数の本を同時に開けるので調べ物をするときに便利だ。: We can open more than one physical book at the same time, which is convenient in doing research.
