Shape a dogu with clay. You can make your own version of “Jomon Venus,” or a dogu of your original design.
❷Pot Making
Shape clay into a pot and then make patterns with ropes and shells. Great program for the whole family.
❸Knitting
Jomon cloth was made of plant fiber. You can experience Jomon knitting and make your original coaster.
❹Magatama Making
People believed magatama had spiritual power in the Kofun period (3rd-6th century), but magatama date back to the Jomon period. Learn to polish stones and make your original charm.
❺Fire Making and Cooking
Try making a fire with wood sticks and be a Jomon chef. You can cook clam soup — a typical Jomon dish — with a Jomon pot!
❻Jomon Fashion
We have many costumes inspired by the Jomon culture. Dress up in Jomon fashion and take photos!

We offer a restaurant and a café for you. Enjoy the taste of Jomon!

Eat like the Jomon people in our pit-house restaurant! Try a Jomon-style lunch with various kinds of nuts, local vegetables, and game meat (1,000 yen).
❷Café Jomon
We offer special dishes like Dogu Curry (800 yen) and Doki Doki Sandwiches (900 yen) for lunch. You can also enjoy our Jomon cookies (300 yen).
Gift Shop
We offer a variety of gifts such as dogu magnets (500 yen), Jomon-pot style coffee cups (700 yen), and T-shirts (small: 1,500 yen, large: 2,000 yen).
